Today we introduce Kai-Uwe Garthe, Sales Manager at Walther Systemtechnik. Having been part of our team for just over a year, Kai-Uwe brings his passion for communication and direct customer interaction into his work every day.
What Kai-Uwe values most about his role is its variety. Building long-term customer relationships and engaging in personal dialogue are central to his work. He particularly enjoys seeing how an initial conversation and idea develop into a fully functional dosing or application system, while getting to know a wide range of companies and people along the way.
Kai-Uwe is motivated by the goal of continuously developing his skills and using this progress to actively support the company’s ongoing success.
His key strengths include strong teamwork skills, excellent communication and a consistently customer-focused approach – essential qualities for his role in sales.
Outside of work, Kai-Uwe enjoys playing football and spending time with his family and friends.
His advice to his younger self: start with an apprenticeship and then continue with a dual study programme or a bachelor’s degree at a university of applied sciences.
