Outlet valves for controlled media discharge
Dispense valves control the discharge of low- to high-viscosity media at the end of a dosing or feed system. They play a central role in the application process by opening and closing the material flow with precision – either continuously or in a cycle-controlled mode.
This principle can be flexibly integrated into automated or semi-automated system architectures and supports a clear separation between media supply and discharge. Dispense valves can also be effectively used in manual application setups – especially when working with components of varying geometries that require clean and controlled media application.
Typical media include high-viscosity or sensitive materials such as adhesives, sealants, gap fillers, silicones, lubricants, casting resins or thermally conductive pastes. The precisely controllable media discharge makes these valves particularly suitable for tasks such as sealing, bonding, filling, contouring, or surface spreading – for example in electronics manufacturing, automotive engineering, medical technology, household appliance production, or the assembly of LED modules and lighting systems.
Depending on their design and functional principle, our dispense valves offer different structural features. Certain valve types, for instance, incorporate an integrated snuff-back effect that generates a slight vacuum when closing and ensures clean break-off of material at the nozzle tip. Depending on the version, additional options such as integrated process monitoring sensors, heating capabilities, and various nozzle geometries and needle configurations are available. The diversity of valve concepts and equipment options allows for precise system configuration tailored to the medium, cycle time, and installation conditions – ensuring clean, process-safe, and repeatable material application.
