Jet and pulse valves for non-contact dot dispensing
Pulse and jet valves enable non-contact, high-precision dispensing of liquid to highly viscous media at very high cycle rates. The medium is ejected from the valve as a droplet or short material jet via a precisely controlled impulse – without any direct contact between nozzle tip and component. This allows reliable and gentle application even on hard-to-reach areas, sensitive surfaces, or moving parts.
Small dosing volumes are applied with frequencies of up to 400 Hz over distances of up to 150 mm with high repeatability – as individual dots or as continuous beads when the valve or workpiece is moved synchronously. Even highly viscous, stringy, or delicate materials can be processed reliably and with excellent reproducibility. The non-contact application minimizes cleaning and maintenance effort and enables extremely short cycle times – ideal for processes with high throughput or dense component layouts, such as in electronics manufacturing, medical technology, precision mechanics, or micro-assembly.
Optionally available nozzle extensions allow targeted application on complex or hard-to-access component geometries. Z-axis movements are completely eliminated – mechanical collisions between the valve and the component are technically excluded. Pulse and jet valves are therefore ideal for automated production lines, robotic applications, and contour-following dispensing processes.
The valves can be flexibly integrated into existing or new system concepts – both in high-dynamic inline environments and in semi-automated production setups.
