The SMS-02 is a pneumatically actuated spray valve designed for the precise application of low- to medium-viscosity fluids in both intermittent and continuous processes. With its robust construction, compact design, and precise controllability, the valve is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. These include the pinpoint and large-area application of oils, greases, release agents, paints and other sprayable process media. Specialty formulations with appropriate viscosity can also be applied consistently, provided that the parameters are configured correctly.

Precise spray control: The needle movement of the SMS-02 is pneumatically actuated via an internal 3/2-way control valve. The short control air path enables fast and accurately repeatable opening and closing behavior. Material discharge can be precisely adapted to the application by selecting suitable nozzle sizes and adjusting the atomising air pressure. The post-spray time of the atomising air can be precisely controlled via a separate exhaust air connection to help prevent droplet formation, overspray or unwanted edge zones in the transition area of the spray pattern.

Flexible application with round or flat spray pattern: Depending on the atomising cap used, the SMS-02 produces either a round or a flat spray pattern. This enables different geometries and surface structures to be coated with high precision and uniformity. Media consumption is reduced, while coating quality remains consistent.

Robust design for industrial requirements: The valve body is designed for long-term use in production environments. All media-wetted components are made from durable materials and are optionally available in hardened versions. The service-friendly construction enables quick cleaning and easy replacement of wear parts. Thanks to its compact design, the SMS-02 can also be installed in multiple-unit configurations within limited space, for example on axes, traverses, or mounting plates. Control air, atomising air and medium are supplied via three separate hose connections.
