Material Pressure Regulator WMDR
The Walther Material Pressure Regulator WMDR-50 was designed for manually controlling the fluid pressure in line systems of supply and circulating systems. Its major control function is to provide a lower and consistent pressure in a subsequent line system, such as the supply line of the pressure reducer. It protects subsequent installations of the system, other devices or valves with a limited pressure resistance and allows a safe supply of the material.
Above that, it can be used to divide a system into zones with individual pressure levels. In doing so, the WMDR-50 already does what you can expect from a material pressure regulator. Based on its innovative construction, the WMDR performs so precisely and reliably that you do not have to struggle with the common problems of normal material pressure regulators
The WMDR-50 fully combines the advantages of membrane and piston pressure regulators. The innovative construction gives the WMDR-50 a high dynamic with ideal tightness, minimizes the influence of varying inlet pressures on the nominal outlet pressure and compensates pre-pressure variations which can develop from pulsation when using piston pumps. Storing and priority control of the plunger will also prevent irritating Stick-Slip effects and reduces other effects such as structure-borne noise, vibrations, increased wear-and-tear or material fatigue.
The material pressure regulator is a module of the modular series, has a compact design, can be easily installed and integrated into any dosing and application system. Also, it can be fast and easily flanged to other modules of this series.
