BUS Gateway Profinet
The Profinet BUS Gateway enables the integration of the WPS Pro pump system’s Modbus TCP network as a Profinet slave within an existing Profinet architecture. This allows the pump system to be seamlessly incorporated into a higher-level industrial control environment – without any modification to the pump’s internal control system.
The gateway performs real-time protocol translation between Modbus TCP and Profinet. This enables the exchange of control commands, status signals and process data, which can then be processed by the Profinet master controller – for example in a PLC or supervisory control system.
With its modular expansion capability, the gateway is ideal for retrofitting existing installations and can be mounted in a space-saving manner on a DIN rail inside the pump’s control cabinet. Commissioning is carried out via a predefined interface on the WPS Pro system.
