BUS Gateway EtherCAT
The EtherCAT BUS Gateway extends the WPS Pro pump system by enabling the integration of the pump’s internal Modbus TCP network as an EtherCAT slave within a higher-level EtherCAT infrastructure.
This allows the system to be seamlessly incorporated into EtherCAT-based automation environments – without any modification to the pump’s internal control logic. The gateway provides real-time protocol conversion between Modbus TCP (pump) and EtherCAT (plant) and enables bidirectional data exchange.
Connection is established via the standardised interface of the WPS Pro, with the gateway transparently forwarding all bus communication. This facilitates centralised control, data access and fault diagnostics directly from the EtherCAT master controller.
