Nozzle extensions

Nozzle extensions enable targeted media application at dosing points that cannot be directly reached with the standard nozzle of a dosing or application valve. At the same time, they can help to reduce valve travel or required component movements.

Length, pipe diameter, path, and outlet opening are tailored to the specific installation situation and the location of the dosing point. Depending on the design, this allows for point-like, linear, radial, segmented, or area-based media application.

The nozzle extensions can be designed for liquid to highly viscous media. The appropriate design depends, among other things, on the flow properties of the medium, the accessibility of the dosing point, and the specific process requirements.

The available options are inlet-sealing and outlet-sealing nozzle extensions. They differ primarily in the position at which the material flow is shut off.

WALTHER Systemtechnik develops nozzle extensions to suit the medium, metering valve, installation situation, and process requirements. Straight and angled versions are available, as well as various outlet geometries and optionally indexable variants for reproducible alignment.
