The SMS-02 is an electro-pneumatically controlled spray valve for the precise and reproducible application of low- to medium-viscosity media. It is suitable for intermittent or continuous use in a wide variety of industrial applications, such as the pinpoint or area application of oils, greases, release agents, paints, and other sprayable media. Special formulations with suitable viscosities can also be applied reliably with appropriate parameter settings.
Control of the spraying process: The needle movement of the SMS-02 is triggered by a directly mounted, electric 5/2-way solenoid valve. The extremely short control air paths ensure rapid, precisely reproducible opening and closing movements of the needle. The material flow can be optimally adapted to the specific application via individually selectable nozzle sizes and the controlled supply of atomizing air. The post-air duration is regulated by a reversing piston integrated into the valve; an effective means of preventing droplet formation, overspray, or unwanted edge zones in the spray pattern.

The maintenance-friendly design allows for quick cleaning and easy replacement of wear parts. Control air, atomizing air, and the medium are supplied via three clearly separated hose connections. Combined with the valve's compact design, this enables space-saving and organized integration, even in multiple configurations on crossbeams, axle systems, or mounting plates.
