Dosing valves
Metering valves from WALTHER Systemtechnik control the release and application of liquid to highly viscous media in industrial metering and application processes. Material application can be continuous, via defined opening and closing times, or in pulses – for example, as spot application, line application, bead application, spray pattern, or small quantity application.
Different valve designs are used, tailored to the medium, metering quantity, application pattern, and cycle time. Spray valves are suitable for area wetting, jet and pulse valves for non-contact spot applications, chamber metering valves for defined small quantities, and full-jet valves for line applications or beads. Crucial for a consistent result is the interplay of valve technology, nozzle, control system, material supply, and component geometry.
Materials processed include sealants, adhesives, thermal pastes, soldering pastes, oils, greases, release agents, potting compounds, and similar media. In industrial production, in addition to dispensing accuracy, reproducibility, process reliability, and a consistent application pattern across high production volumes are paramount.
Configurable control times, integrated sensors, pressure monitoring, heated media-carrying components, and interfaces to plant control systems support integration into automated process chains. This allows dosing processes to be monitored, documented, and adapted to different production requirements.
