Dosing devices
Dosing devices from WALTHER Systemtechnik are compact, function-specific units for the component-precise application of liquid to highly viscous media. They are used where technical components need to be wetted, coated, or treated with a defined quantity of media in a controlled manner – for example, in assembly processes, testing applications, manual workstations, or semi-automated production processes.
Typically, dosing devices consist of a media feed, a dosing or application unit, and a control system. Depending on the application, the material is applied either contact-based via an application valve with a specific application head or contactlessly using spray or jet technology. The goal is repeatable material application with minimal operator intervention and manageable integration effort.
One important area of application is industrial lubrication. Metering devices enable the targeted distribution of oils and greases to functionally relevant component areas, thus supporting the operational reliability of tribologically stressed components. Typical components include O-rings, radial shaft seals, plain bearings, needle bearings, splined shafts, and wheel hubs.
