Filter units
Filter units protect dosing and application systems from malfunctions caused by particles, contaminants, or deposits in the medium. These can impair material flow, clog nozzles or valves, increase wear on media-carrying components, and negatively affect dosing or application quality.
Depending on the application, different filter systems are used – from compact inline filters for simple filtration tasks to specialized filter units with integrated diagnostic and monitoring functions. Digital interfaces allow corresponding components to be integrated into higher-level control systems and used to collect relevant operating data such as pressure, temperature, or filter condition.
The targeted use of suitable filter units protects downstream functional units, reduces maintenance requirements, and supports a stable, reproducible dosing process. In doing so, they make a significant contribution to process reliability and the consistent quality of material application.
