Booster Pump WBP
Long supply lines, small pipe cross-sections, significant elevation differences, or flow resistance caused by increased viscosity due to unfavorable temperature conditions – the causes of insufficient pressure in fluid systems are diverse. This is precisely where the Walther Booster Pump (WBP) comes into play: it reliably increases the medium pressure where it is needed most.
The pneumatically driven piston pump is integrated directly into the media supply line and acts as a compact, highly efficient pressure amplifier. With a transmission ratio of 1:25 and a maximum outlet pressure of 250 bar, the WBP is an ideal solution for conveying high-viscosity media such as lubricating greases or pasty compounds. It provides reliable pressure support to ensure that the medium reaches its point of application in the required quantity and at the necessary pressure – even under challenging piping conditions.
Its compact design combined with high energy efficiency makes the WBP a versatile solution for a wide range of industrial applications. The Booster Pump can be used not only as a supply pump for dispensing valves but also for filling containers or transferring viscous media.
As part of the Walther MODULAR system, the Booster Pump WBP can be quickly and reliably combined with other functional units using a standardized module connector set. With its compact dimensions of 153 × 79 × 417 mm and G½" female process ports, it is ideally suited for integration into both new and existing fluid and dispensing systems.
